Hi, I’m Mary Floyd-Elliott — licensed esthetician, brow & brazilian wax specialist, and the founder of Venus Esthetics in Fort Wayne.
This space is my personal envisionment of Venus/Aphrodite's temple, and leans into the dark side of Venus, and the dark divine feminine. I believe in individuality, and that Venus is the multi-faceted embodiment of beauty. This is my sacred space! My space is non-judgmental, inclusive, and body positive. Whether you're a first-time waxer or a facial regular, you'll get expert care with zero awkward vibes. My services are sacred beauty rituals.
Since becoming licensed and starting Venus in April 2019, I’ve specialized in Brazilian waxing, corrective and relaxing facials, and brow artistry. I love to keep a conversation going (certified yapper here!) and make your waxing services speedy and completely hairless. I have been doing eyebrows since I was 16 years old (that's nearly half of my life!) and I love brow tints and laminations. I personally have struggled with many dietary and skin issues in my life and work very personally with my skin clients.
When I’m not in the treatment room, I’m probably homeschooling my son, reading a dystopian/fantasy/self-help book, or going into deep rabbit holes on the internet. I love philosophy, religious/theological studies, and history. I listen to almost all music types but especially love psychedelic/soft rock and alternative music. I consider myself a student of the universe.

Hi, I'm Myhrissa Uhen!
I've been a licensed esthetician, and at Venus Esthetics since February 2024. I've always worked in spaces where helping people feel comfortable and confident was the top priority-- and that continues to be my mission every time someone gets off my treatment table.
I specialize in brazilian and body waxing, but nothing makes me happier than a customized facial or a set of freshly snatched brows. I'm a Capricorn through and through-- driven, passionate, and deeply invested in the work I do and the connections I build with my clients.
When I'm not clocked in at Venus, you can find me lifting at the gym, garage saling with my family, or dressing up for themed parties with my best friends!

I’m an emerging Esthetician with an attention to detail and passion to learn. My favorite services are brazilians and lashes. As a queer, neurodivergent gal I am always making sure you feel safe, comfortable, and maybe make you giggle too much!
I can guarantee while you’re in my treatment room that you’ll always be in a non-judgmental, safe space where we can yap the entire service or have an entirely quiet, relaxing treatment.
